Our Story
Built on a Different Kind of Foundation.
Kasay Construction specializes in high-end renovations, additions, and custom homes through the South Carolina Lowcountry. Based in Bluffton, we work with homeowners and architects in communities including Oldfield, Palmetto Bluff, Palmetto Dunes, and Hilton Head Island to create homes that are as comfortable to live in as they are beautiful.

Meet Steven
Steven Kasay | Founder
Steven founded Kasay Construction in 2015 with a straightforward goal:
Build a company that gives homeowners better craftsmanship, greater transparency, and clearer communication.
With a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University, Steven approaches construction with a curiosity about how things work and how they can work better. Renovating existing homes gave him a firsthand look at the consequences of construction decisions, reinforcing his interest in building science and the details that influence a home's comfort and durability.
In 2022, Steven became a Certified Passive House Tradesperson, deepening his knowledge of energy-efficient, high-performance construction. That training continues to inform his approach to both renovations and custom homes.
For Steven, building science is not about making a home more complicated. It is about making thoughtful decisions that serve the people living in it. Beautiful finishes matter, but so does how a home feels and how well it holds up over time.
Steven lives in Bluffton with his wife and their three children.
Meet Maddie
Madison McNamara | Project Coordinator
Maddie serves as Project Coordinator at Kasay Construction, helping keep the many details of each project organized and moving forward. From client communication and selections to coordinating with vendors, designers, and trade partners, she helps connect the pieces throughout the building process.
With a strong eye for design and detail, Maddie works closely with clients as selections begin to take shape. She helps organize finishes, fixtures, materials, and specifications while making sure the right information gets to the right people at the right time.
A large part of Maddie’s role is communication. She works behind the scenes with the Kasay team and project partners while also serving as a point of contact for clients, helping make a process with countless decisions feel more organized and approachable.
She also helps tell the story of Kasay Construction through the company’s marketing and social media, sharing the craftsmanship, building science, and details that go into each home.
For Maddie, the most rewarding part of the process is watching all of those individual decisions come together to create a home that feels personal to the people who will live there.
